LEVI SNOW SPORT ACADEMY

THE MOST ATTRACTIVE STUDY OPTION FOR THE FINNISH SNOW SPORTS ENTHUSIAST

Levi Snow Sport Academy offers an enjoyable, stimulating and action-packed learning environment for learning and training snow sports in and around Kittilä and Levi. It offers the most versatile options for combining secondary education studies with skiing, snowboarding or alpine ski racing in Finland. Ski and snowboard training at the Levi Snowsport Academy can be combined with secondary studies at Kittilä senior high school or with vocational training at Lapland Education Center REDU. You can get started with the Academy’s activities already at lower secondary school age by attending our YouthTraining Camps and/or by joining our JuniorTeam focusing on Alpine ski racing training.

OUR GOAL IS TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE IMPROVE THEIR SNOW SPORTS SKILLS AND HELP THEM GROW TO BECOME RESPONSIBLE AND HEALTHY PERSONS WHO KNOW HOW TO APPRECIATE THEMSELVES AND RESPECT OTHERS.

As a result of long-term development work, our students now receive training from top expert trainers in their separate fields. Furthermore, our team and activities are supported by a number of significant co-operation partners. Therefore, we can guarantee to offer top-level coaching by professional Finnish trainers to all our students. Our everyday activities are based on developing a positive learning spirit in an inspiring, open and encouraging atmosphere, in which we are also striving to educate our students in a personalized and humane way. We believe that supporting our students’ self-confidence, autonomy and sense of community will support their well-being and help them achieve great things in their lives.

Our training track options are AlpineSkiRacing (AlppiHiihto), MultiSnowsport (MoniTaito), FreeRide, FreeSki, JuniorTeam and YouthTraining Camps (Yläkoululeirit).

Apply to the Alpine Schools – Entrance Exams 2026

LEVI, RUKA, TAHKO

The joint entrance exams for the Alpine Schools will be held in connection with the Peuramaa and Vihti Mandatum Tour on Thursday, February 5, 2026. According to the preliminary plan, the technical skills test will take place at Vihti Ski Center in the morning, and the aptitude test will be held in the afternoon in a sports hall in the Helsinki metropolitan area.

Applications for the Alpine Schools open on December 15, 2025, and close on February 1, 2026.

The entrance exams consist of the following test components:

1. TECHNICAL SKILLS – max. 48 points
a. Skills track – max. 32 points
b. Competition results – max. 16 points
• Injured athletes will be evaluated based on their previous season’s results.

2. APTITUDE TEST – max. 48 points
